This week in Year 9 French, we learnt about the day of Mardi Gras, which precedes the time of Lent.

Mardi Gras is an important and famous day that is celebrated all around the world in countries like the USA, Italy, Brazil, and of course France! It is a fun celebration where people wear fancy costumes and masks. There are street parades and lots of amazing food to eat, like crepes, pancakes, and doughnuts. In French, we created some of our own Mardi Gras masks. Check them out!
