Athletics Day

Queen's High School —

A fantastic day was had on Monday 10th February at the Caledonian. It was great to see all our students involved and having a good time. We have some awesome athletes and many events were very close.

A special congratulations to Year 9 student Jorja Gibbons who broke 2 records. The U14 Long Jump which was set in 2007 by Shannen McLaren. The old record was 4.28 and Jorja jumped 4.40. She also broke Sam McAuley’s 2010 record in the 200m by 0.25 of a second. Well done Jorja.

We would like to thank Karen Palmer for returning to Queen's to assist with the start up of sports for 2020 and the organising of Athletics Day.
