Education Perfect introduced a video competition for language students in Term 4.

 Four Year 10 French students took up the challenge and working in pairs they made videos, with French commentary or dialogue, on “A Day in the Life of….”. Caitlyn Petrie and Tessa Conijn spent hours over a weekend filming their shoes walking in various places around town and then shared the task of editing and adding the commentary, with an impressive result.

Mikayla Preston and Olivia Currie showed their coding skills and made a humourous animation about a girl and her brother. Their advanced technology and French skills earned them an Excellence award. Having girls to teach who are prepared to go beyond the required and who take responsibility for their own learning is such a pleasure.
