This year saw another exciting season for the Ice Queens. We had students from Columba and St Hilda’s join us to make a very strong team.

 The season started on a high, and the team continued to develop their strength through the season. Our final game was against OBHS/Kavanagh/KVC for third and fourth placings. This was the most exciting game for a long time, with the teams finishing on a draw, resulting in overtime play and still a draw, which lead to a shootout. We unfortunately lost in the second round of shootout, but it was an incredible game to watch. The students were exhausted after a long game, but there were many smiles in the changing room afterwards. A huge thank you to our coach, Laney Keenan, who taught our team so much through the season. Also thank you to the Year 13 players (Shanice, Brianna, Tamara, and Megan) who had their final games – well done! What a great end to your school Ice Hockey career!
