Sounds of Music
Queen B and the Swing Kings (The Queen’s and King’s Jazz Band) went to the Dunedin Youth Jazz Festival at Otago Boys High School on Friday 30th July. We listened to different schools perform music and also performed some music ourselves. We had a lovely time listening to the talented performers and hearing some songs we already knew. We enjoyed watching the crazy clarinet player. Our band came away with the award of runner-up in the Big band section and we can’t wait to do this again next year.
