Year 9 Digi Tech Days

Jucinda Geddes —

This week Year 9 have had two days of a cross curricular Digi Tech experience.

During day one the students had the opportunity to develop their tech skills using a range of different applications/programmes. These included Spheros, Scratch, Education Minecraft, Maky Maky and Google Earth.

Day two saw the students using these skills to problem solve and present a product/solutions to combat/prevent the impacts that climate change might have on Dunedin in 2100.

Thank you to Mr Titi for running sessions. Thank you also to Anthony and Nathan from Cylcone for running sessions, bringing some cool tech along for us to play with and providing us with a Maky Maky kit for the winning team.
