Using a free city bus the senior French students headed into the Exchange area to begin their Street Art Challenge last Friday.

They were given a map of their search area and a dozen questions, all in French of course. By following the clues given they had to find specific street art images and answer their questions all before meeting back at Vanguard by 3:15pm. The winning team of Billie, Tessa and Caitlyn (pictured) were certainly up for the challenge and Brianna was awarded the certificate for the “Best Photographer”. Their work continued back at school the following week as they used this experience to either write about street art or have a recorded conversation about it for their NCEA portfolios.
