The Otago Athletics Championships were held recently and 17 Queen's High School students participated.

The girls had some impressive results, as follows:

1st in the Under 16 relay, with Gracie Young, Neve Darlington, Chloe Gray, and Zara Ward.

1st in the under 15 relay , with Molly Goldsmith, Malia Corson, Jorja Gibbons, and Safera Wintrup.

3rd in the Under 14 relay, with Summer McGregor, Izzy Brown, Billie Askerud, and Abby Newall.

There were also some notable individual results, with Sarah Donaldson winning the high jump and Jorja Gibbons winning the 100 metres, hurdles, and long jump.
