House Sports Day

Karen Palmer —

The annual Athletics Day was held on Wednesday 13 February at the Caledonian Sports Ground.

The heat of the competition matched the heat of the day in both the competitive and novelty events. Students outdid themselves with costumes supporting their house colours and all were keen to get as many points as they could for their houses. Record numbers competed in the standard track and field events. Top performers in these events will have the opportunity to compete at the Otago Secondary Schools Athletics Championships on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 March.
