Character Day

QHS —

Character Day to end the week. Ms Agnew turned some heads as the Head Girl and Amberly was in charge of the school as Principal!

Our Year 13 students held a ‘Character Day’ last Friday, which many staff joined in on, including myself. It is some time since I have been in a school uniform and want to make special mention to Amberly for her likeness to me (see photo below). A fun time had by all and to all the students at other levels, watch this space as an opportunity for all is coming soon.

The Queen’s High School Formal was held last Saturday night at the Glenroy Auditorium and was a fantastic success. The auditorium was beautifully decorated and we all enjoyed a lovely dinner in between many photos and lots of dancing. Thank you and well done to the Formal Committee, for making this such a memorable and fun occasion.

Thank you to everyone who made the Open Night such a success. The feedback has been very positive with many of our visitors commenting on the real warmth and the genuine relationships between students and staff here at Queen’s. Specific comments were also made about their fantastic guide and how well they answered all of their questions. Enrolments are now being accepted for 2022 at all levels.

Best wishes to the Basketball teams in semi-finals tonight and to the Queen's Aerobics Club members competing in the Otago Secondary School's Competition this weekend.
