Queen's High School — Mar 4, 2019

Keep Saturday 6th April free! (In the autumn this year, hoping for better weather!)

This is our chance to promote and celebrate our community. There will be dancing (including from some of our local schools), music, a pipe band, demonstrations of a range of skills and activities (Mitre 10, karate, local gyms, sewing), a children’s area with face painting and a magician, a safe resting place for older people and free transport for them to get there, stalls of various kinds (where we are encouraging interactive displays, rather than passive ones!) and of course FOOD from our rich diversity of ethnicities. The science educator from the Museum will be there as well as representatives of the DCC and GNS with visual displays of the water issues etc.

It will be a day worth keeping clear! Come and join us! 10am – 3pm, King Edward Street
