Recently at the South Coast Boardriders prize-giving, the team had some great results. All of the girls were a part of the junior team that won the top junior club for all of the South Island, which is a fantastic achievement!

Rewa Morrison won the Under 14 Most Improved Surfer and was the top ranked National Junior for the club. Tessa Gabbott won the Most Improved Female cup. Jaya Reardon won the Open Women's cup. Ms Tash Civil won the 28+ Women’s trophy and was the top ranked National Open Woman for the club.The team surfed really well all season and will be surfing throughout winter. 

For our surf session on Monday, the girls traveled up to Karitane to surf the last of the swell that had been hammering the north coast all weekend. The girls scored some great waves and their confidence is constantly growing when surfing these different locations around our coastline.
