During our lunch break last Thursday the 22nd October, the first ever Queen's Hip Hop Mini Crew Competition was held.

To enter, crews had to have a crew of 2-4 performers and choreograph and perform a Hip Hop routine. We had 4 crews enter and perform entertaining routines for the very supportive and enthusiastic audience.

1st place, "Ignite" - Gracie Ruri and Anika Strange

2nd place, "Violet" - Skyla Cherry and Izzy Brown

3rd place, - " The Spice Meisters" - Amberly Orr and Aliyah Christos

4th place "Double Trouble" - Brooke Nilsen and Samantha Meikle

A big thank you to our guest performers "CUSTOM MADE" - Lucy, Martha and Tiara. Thank you also to our judges Emma-Rose, Nakita and Ona.

Next year the competition will be held in Term 1, so the top crews can go on to compete at the NZ Schools Hip Hop Championships. So grab some friends and get started for next year.
