Hip Hop Crew - National Champions!

Nicole Rogers —

NZ schools Hip Hop (NZCAF) organisers ran a very well organised event for competitors, judges and the audience with schools and dance studios competing from four regions.

After the postponement of the NZ schools Hip Hop Nationals from September to November, we were lucky to have the opportunity to compete and perform for a live audience and judges at Cashmere High School in Christchurch.

Queens’ High School crews and student coaches have been working towards this event since April this year, and all their hard work and commitment paid off. Two of our three crews who competed at the Otago Regionals and qualified for Nationals. Both crews gained first placings in their categories at the regional and national level.
