On Friday 19 March the Senior and Junior A Futsal teams played in the Otago Secondary Schools Tournament at the Edgar Centre.

Both teams represented the school well, showing great sportsmanship and teamwork. The Junior A team, made up mainly of Year 9, played hard and won all their round games. However, they went down to Columba in a tough semi-final battle putting them third overall in the Junior Girls division. The Senior’s, made up of mainly Year 11, had a tough draw. They put up a good fight with one win and two narrow defeats in their round games.

Congratulations, I was proud of you all and I had my heart in my mouth more than once. I look forward to seeing what you can do next year.
