Pacific Trust TOA Awards 2023
Talofa Lava, Kia Orana, Fakaalofa Lahi Atu, Mauri, Ni Sa Bula Vinaka, Taloha Ni, Malo E Lelei and Warm Pacific Greetings!
TOA in the Pacific Island context means champion, leader, winner, warrior and to be brave. These scholarships which are given annually by the Pacific Trust, allow the Trust to recognise the effort and contributions made by Year 12 and 13 Pacific high school students in Ōtepoti (Dunedin).
One of the speakers at the event was our own Ex-Girl Iunisi Finau, who spoke about her educational journey. Iunisi was also a past recipient of a TOA scholarship. Congratulations Iunisi on your success at Otago University and we wish you the very best for finishing your Masters. You are a truly inspiration for our Pacific Queen's rangatahi.
Congratulations to Helylani (Lani) Luafitu, Miliame (Mili) Tudreu and Theleielizabeth (Liz) Amaramo Taumaoe who all received Pacific Trust Otago TOA scholarships last Friday night. It was an honour and privilege for our school to be a part of this event.
