This week we held the annual Year 11 Economics/Business Studies Market Day. The students spent time in class learning how to run their own business, create business plans, and then create a product to sell.

This year we had six groups doing this and had for sale earrings, painted jars, lip balm and scrub, anklets, candles, patches and pins. It was the most successful market days to date, and saw many groups selling out and all groups making a profit. They had a great time selling and convincing people to buy their products. For the first time some groups were advertising through Instagram, and this was a great experience in marketing for our groups. Well done to all students involved :)
