2023 has been another successful year for Hip Hop at Queen’s.

Three out of the seven Queen's crews that competed in the Otago NZ Schools Hip Hop competition, qualified for Nationals.

Nationals was held in Dunedin on Saturday 2 September.  All crews competed strongly, but only ‘Custom Made’ (Lucy Grant and Martha McAuley) made the finals and were awarded 1st Place. This is the first time a Queen's crew has received first place in the Mini Crew category at a National level.

A massive thank you to, Sarah Manning and Helen Lowther for your support. Also, Murray Fiora for editing the music, and the coaches Martha, Lucy, Safera, Izzy and Tiara for putting all your time and effort into getting us there. We couldn't have done it without you all!

A big thank you also to our parents and supporters who help the girls pursue their passion.
