The talents of Queen’s girls have been showcased in a number of events held over the last two weeks. The Queen's groups were once again impressive at the Hip Hop and Aerobics competitions held in Invercargill last weekend. All competitors gained medals with some taking away trophies for top overall performances. The Under 15 cross country team gained 1st place at the recent Otago Cross Country champs. The award for the top vocalist was won by Maddison Sinclair at the recent Jazz Band Festival and a second placing for Cai Heperi-Smart at Rockquest. Well done to all the students who have taken part in events and achieved such fantastic results.

Senior students will be getting their school examination timetable this week. These examinations are in week 9 of this term, Monday 14 - Friday 18 September.  Students will have study leave when not in an examination. The timetable needs to be read carefully by all students so they are aware of the day and time of their examinations. These examinations may be the only opportunity that a student has to gain a grade that is usable if a derived grade is required.

A reminder also, that NCEA examination dates for the end of the year have been changed. The examinations start on Monday 16 November and finish on Wednesday 9 December. Click here for the NCEA examination timetable.
