Consultation on the proposed new enrolment scheme for Queen’s High School has now been completed and considered by the Ministry of Education. As a result of the feedback, a change has been made to the original proposal to include Otago Peninsula in the Queen’s High School home zone.

The approved home zone map is above, as well as a table of the summarised feedback below. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the community for the valuable feedback provided to the Ministry of Education regarding this matter.

Recently, the Memorandum of Understanding between Queen's High School and the Ministry of Education was completed and signed. This formally confirmed the proposed area as the designated home zone for our school.

For families residing outside this designated area, we wish to advise that a number of out-of-zone places will be available. All enrolment applications are welcome, and those from out-of-zone students will be processed in accordance with the Education and Training Act 2020.
