Super Surfing Camp

Super Surfers —

Year 10 students had four great days of surfing and relaxing around the beaches of Dunedin.

The first day was spent at Blackhead, where we had hot weather and nice waves. The next two days were spent at Aramoana as we were looking for a sheltered spot from the strong southerly wind which we definitely found. We also found a great place for hot chips at Port Chalmers! The forecast on our last day was looking pretty terrible but we headed south and found a beautiful beach, sheltered from the wind and the sun was out! The girls got a good couple of hours in the water before a storm hit and we headed to the cafe for some hot chocolates. Very well deserved after a big week of searching for waves and surfing them. Thank you to Miss Civil and Mr Sherborne for taking the girls on this wonderful trip.
