Introducing....Graeme McAuley

Jo Lyons —

Graeme was co-opted onto the board in August 2020 and again in October 2022.

Kia ora. I am a father of three children with both of my two daughters' attending Queen's High School. In 2023, my youngest daughter Martha will be the Head Girl.

I was born and raised in Dunedin, attending Musselburgh Primary School, King's High School and Otago University, from which I obtained a Bachelor of Commerce. I worked for a couple of local Accountancy firms before moving into corporate accounting, first with what is now Fonterra in Hamilton and then going on my OE and working in Brisbane and London.

On my return to NZ, I worked first in Hamilton again before returning to Dunedin 30 years ago to set up my own business which morphed into Health 2000, a Natural Health Retailing Co-operative.

Queen's is my second stint as a Board of Trustee member, my first being with Rotary Park School which our 2 youngest children attended. I have enjoyed being on the board of Queen's and have seen first hand what a special school it is, with both of my daughters enjoying and thriving in the caring and empowering environment. Ngã Mihi
