Aerobics National Success
Over the weekend 14 members of the Queen's High School Aerobics team competed at the NZCAF Schools Aerobics Nationals, held in Invercargill
It was wonderful to see all of the Queen's girls qualify for the finals. Queen's High School won the Tina Ball shield for the highest scoring school for the most 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

Several of the primary and intermediate children, who are coached by Queen's students through the Queen's Aerobics Community Coaching programme, were also successful in gaining places.
Following the Otago regional competition, Billie Allan and Saige Evans were invited to move up to the FISAF International grade and trial their pair routine for the FISAF World Sport Aerobics Championships. This meant that they had to re-craft the choreography and add more difficult skills. They were successful in being selected to represent New Zealand along with Dani Kramers who is coached by Queen's Aerobics in Invercargill.
They will travel with their coaches, Annelise Lowther and Kirsty Snoep to the Czech Republic in November. Some earnest fundraising is about to begin to raise $10,000 each for their travel.
Well done to everyone and a massive thank you to all the coaches and parent support for helping us get there.
