Interact is underway again!
The Queen’s High School Interact had our first meeting for the year on Tuesday.
We made our first KIVA loan of the year - supporting Abeer, a 24 year old woman who lives in Egypt and who raises animals to support her family. Over the past years we have now made Micro-loans of over $1,000 to support women around the world.
Members are now doing their ‘homework’ so they can make decisions about how they will choose to make a difference in the world this year.
Interact is a Service club, linked to other Interact Clubs in schools and communities across the world, and supported by Rotary International. Students check out the noticeboard beside A3 if you would like to know a little more about Interact - then, come along to a meeting.
We always welcome new and returning members.
Meetings are now held in A14, at lunchtime each Tuesday.
