On Thursday 30 November Queen’s Surfing Academy students took part in an ‘Expression Session’ held at St Clair and organised by Backdoor Surf Shop.

Some of the countries best surfers came down for this including Olympian and WSL surfer Billy Stairmand, as well as WSL surfer Paige Hareb and other top NZ surfers, such as Paul Moretti, Taylor Hutchison and Caleb Cutmore. These pros surfed with our students and gave valuable advice and answered questions at a pizza evening after the event. Tessa Gabbott, Rewa and Taya Morrison as well as Sari Ayson took part in the ‘Expression Session’ where Sari Ayson was named Best Wahine. Well done Sari and to our other students for taking part. Best of luck for the upcoming SISA Grom Comp at St Clair on Saturday 9 December.
