Each year several of our senior students get their practical, trade-career learning off to an early start, whilst still at school.

Students in Years 12 and 13 attend the Polytechnic each Friday, to attend training in a field of their interest. These photos show Abby-Rose Elkins Fitzgerald, who is taking part in the Level 3 Cookery programme, and the other is Nakita Rangi, who is one of 4 students who are taking part in the Level 2 Salon Skills course. Students gain in excess of 20 credits in each area.
