“It’s crazy how performance goes up when an athlete knows their coach believes in them.”

Junior Tournament Week

An enjoyable time was experienced recently by students who were involved in; 3x3 Basketball, Ki-O-Rahi, Rugby Sevens, and Handball during Junior Tournament Week. Teams had a combination of students who had played the sport before and others who wanted to ‘Have a Go’.

Futsal

The Senior Futsal Team had a short, but successful Term 4 season. The close, edge of your seat final against Bayfield High School, ended in a one all draw. The Junior Futsal Team is playing Kavanagh College in the Junior final tomorrow.

Water Polo

What a Water Polo final; four all at full-time. Extra time against St Hilda's, unfortunately didn't go our way, with the team being defeated by one goal. A massive effort, especially considering the number of team injuries and players being away at school camp. It has been a fantastic season, with the team ably led by Mereana Martin, Captain and Greg Martin, Coach. Thank you also to Ms Manning for managing the team this year.

Handball

Queen’s and King’s students combined forces in Term 4 to play Handball. The team enjoyed the fast pace and fun aspect of the sport and competed strongly. The team was grateful to have the expertise of Annalise Wilson and Madi Sutherland as coaches.
