Tena koutou katoa! Our names are Billie Askerud and Rīpeka Pōtiki and we are incredibly thrilled to be head girl and deputy head girl for 2024. 

We trust everyone is settling in nicely to their new classes for 2024. High school is not always easy, but with a bit of encouragement from the prefects and teachers, high school will be a breeze.

Over the past years that we have been at Queen’s High school we have found pleasure in all the extra curricular activities including kapa haka, rowing, choir, basketball and many more. As Year 13 students, and this being our last year of high school, we advise you to get involved and take any opportunities that are available. The 5 years will fly by! It's great to try new things and push yourself out of your comfort zone. This could lead to many more opportunities in the future.

To all returning students we hope you’ve spent your holidays relaxing and resetting for the new year, perhaps setting some goals for yourself to reach or some personal resolutions to strive for. Take this year as it comes and make the most of it!

To the Year 9’s and new students from other year levels, nau mai haere mai! We welcome you and we hope that you have settled in nicely.
