Student Office Reminders

Queen's High School —

This is a reminder for students and whānau about some of the procedures around the school.

Changing personal details: Please remember to advise the Student Office of any change of address, phone or medical details. You can also check and change your details on the Parent Portal.

Absences: If a student is absent, please advise the Student Office on 455 7212 or via Skool Loop at the beginning of the day. If a student is late, they MUST SIGN IN at the Student Office (even during break time) and collect a late pass. A text message will be sent to caregivers of students absent without an explanation.

Appointments: These should be made outside of school hours, however if they fall within school hours the Student Office needs to be contacted. Students will not be allowed to leave the school grounds without contact with whānau. They will also need to sign back in at the Student Office on their return.

Communication between home and school: There are various forms of communication between school and home. These include...email (reports, important notices, log in details), Facebook (events and notices), School Website (parent portal, all school information, notices), Skool Loop App, text/phone call (absences) and the parent portal (absences, details, timetable, notices, reports and NCEA grades). Whānau will have received emails regarding the Parent Portal. If you have not used this yet or are having trouble using it please ring the school.
