Kia ora, we are Amberly and Daisy, the Head and Deputy Head Girls for 2021. We are so excited for the year ahead and what it will bring for us.

We hope you enjoyed a well deserved break over the summer.  You may have been sleeping in till late or out and about with your family, hopefully you are all feeling well rested and prepared to jump into the year ahead.

As 2021 is the first year of the new decade, it's a perfect time to set yourself some new goals for the upcoming year and years to come, these can be as big or as small as you please, such as aiming for those higher grades you’ve always aspired for, or trying not to be distracted in class. A great goal to have could be to take as many opportunities as you can and get involved. This is a great way to grow your confidence and knowledge and also get to know other students from different year groups and make new friends.

It’s been great getting to know the Year 9’s and helping them settle into their new way of life here at Queen’s, and as always it is lovely to have everybody back at school together.

We are so excited to be leading Queen’s for 2021 and cannot wait to see how the year unfolds.
