The Queen’s High School Athletics Championships and House Fun Day will be held on Monday 10 February at the Caledonian Sports Ground.

This is a school day and all students are to attend. The wet weather postponement is Wednesday 26 February. If the weather is not suitable a postponement notice will be emailed and will be on the school facebook page, by 7:30am. If the athletics sports are postponed, students are to come prepared for a normal school day.

The students are to be at school by 8.40am for form time. Rolls will be taken and we will be boarding the buses at 9.00am and returning to school by 2.50pm.

The students will be competing in both competitive and fun events for their houses and therefore need to arrive at school in suitable sports clothing representing their house colours. 

Students need to bring their own food and plenty of water for the day. There is no canteen however the Interact club will have a snack stall. Please ensure students have a hat and sunscreen.
