9SMI are taking part in a shark research study off the Otago coast.

On Monday the class went out to the harbour on the Polaris II. They set out two underwater cameras, with some bait, to get footage of the sharks in action. Tomorrow, they will be analyzing their data to find out what types, number and sizes of sharks are out there.
