Kia ora koutou

This week and next, we are welcoming Year 8 students and their parents into Queen’s. Our girls enjoy showing visitors around the school, proudly sharing their personal experiences of learning and the extra-curricular activities they are engaged in. Open Evening is next week, on Wednesday 31 July. Many girls are involved in this event and are required at school for the evening. School will close at 2.30pm on this day and girls returning for Open Evening need to be back at school for a 6.30pm start. I expect all students to be finished by 8.30pm. If transport is needed for your daughter, this can be arranged. Please ask her to speak to her form teacher.

Reports for all students were emailed home at the end of last term. If you have not received your daughter’s report please check with the school office that your email address is correct and a copy of the report can be forwarded to you.

Parent teacher interview night is on Thursday 8 August. The information on booking interview times is later in this issue. Careers and Options Evening is on Thursday 23 August. This is an opportunity for you to listen to ex-girls talk about their career paths and discuss options choices for 2020.
