On Friday evening, August 2nd at the Dunedin Town Hall the NZ schools Hip Hop Otago Championships were held.

Queen’s had 3 crews compete. The 2 small crews competed strongly with Audacious crew coming 6th place and Vivacity crew coming 8th.  Funky Fellaz (Lucy Grant and Martha McAuley) qualified for Nationals and were awarded the trophy for the highest scoring high school crew.  Congratulations to the crews and a special thank you to our coaches Poppy Cairns and Scarlett Rogers for all their hard work.  Also a big thank you to Helen Lowther for organising the event, and her team of Queen's helpers who made the night run smoothly.
