Over the weekend 18 Queen's students participated in the Otago Athletics Championships in a range of track and field events. There were many outstanding performances with a special mention to Jorja Gibbons, taking gold in both the U14 Hurdles and the U14 Long Jump, setting a new Otago Record.

Results:

Jorja Gibbons: 1st in U14 Long Jump (and a meet record), 1st in U14 80m Hurdles, 2nd in 100 and Triple Jump

Sarah Donaldson: 2nd U14 High Jump

Alyssa Hale: 3rd U16 Shot Put 

Gracie Young: 3rd U14 200m

U15 Relay: 2nd (Summer McGregor, Neve Darlington, Chloe Gray, Gracie Young) 

U14 Relay: 2nd (Izzy Brown, Sarah Donaldson, Nika Macut, Jorja Gibbons)
