Year 9 Food Technology students enjoyed planning and making their own recipes as a completion to a research task on a chosen nutrient and associated dietary illness or disorder.

Protein, carbohydrates, vitamin C, calcium and sodium were some of the topics covered. Professional slide shows were presented and the students gave each other feedback. They then made a recipe that matched their chosen nutrient.
