QHS update and calendar changes
Due to the lockdown, the NCEA examinations being moved and the uncertainty of alert levels, we have changed the dates for some events on our school calendar. Please see below for the new dates for all major events. This includes the Sport and Cultural Awards evening and Senior Prizegiving.
In this edition of the Queen's News, we share some of the fantastic work students have been completing during lockdown. They are definitely worth a read.
To Amberly, Daisy and all of you who have contributed to the 'Queens of Quarantine' closed Facebook page, thank you. This page, only for Queen’s students, has been a fun and interesting way for students to stay connected.
While we are at Alert Level 3 all students continue with their classes via online learning. This is not always easy and I ask you to encourage your daughter to continue to do her best. She can ask for help from her teachers, form teacher, year level dean or our guidance counsellor. Sending an email is the best way to make contact.
A reminder that school is open for students, in Years 9 and 10, who need to be at school. If your circumstances have changed, or do change over the coming days, and your daughter will be attending school, please contact us before she attends for the first time.
I am hopeful we all be back onsite soon. Stay safe and stay well.
