Congratulations to Georgia Te Raki and Abby Newell who recently represented Otago in the South Island Teams Table Tennis Championship.

Georgia and Abby had an excellent weekend of table tennis over Queen's Birthday weekend. On the Saturday was the South Island Teams Championship. Georgia was in the Otago under 15 Girls 1 team. They played well against some tough opponents and ended up 3rd in the competition. Abby Newell also played in the same competition for the Otago under 15 Girls 2 team. Her team also played well, but did not place.Georgia and Abby both then played in the Canterbury Open in singles and as a doubles pairing. No placings for either girls here but some very close results against some of the top seeds.  Well done girls!
