This year the Senior A netball team travelled down to Invercargill for the South Island Netball Tournament. We started the tournament off really well, however, the team was struck down by illness very quickly and we had to cut our tournament short. Thank you to the staff, coaches, managers and parents for getting us down there. Luckily we have made a full recovery and we look forward to competing again next year!

The girls competed in the OSSSA Girls' Football Tournament Sunday, Monday and Tuesday this week.

Queen's is lucky to have the support of Dunedin's Megazone Entertainment Venue to reward students who are displaying the Queen's Way at school.

Year 9 Food Technology students enjoyed planning and making their own recipes as a completion to a research task on a chosen nutrient and associated dietary illness or disorder.

After a slight delay due to Covid-19 the Queen's Kickstart Breakfast programme is now up and running for Term 3.

Once again our students had the opportunity to hear an array of inspiring young women talk about their education, experiences and careers - so far.

It's Library month at Queen's and we have been running the House Reading Challenge and having fun with some book related competitions.

Wednesday afternoons are a highlight for a small group of students who attend Sport Otago's Adaptive sport/activities programme. Our students have an opportunity to learn new skills whilst making connections with students from other schools.

Term 3 has been a fun and busy term so far for the students selected for the Queen's PEAK programme this year.
