It has been busy at all levels in the Food Technology department. Students have been busy creating and researching all aspects of food and nutrition.

Students are busy creating recycled denim projects at Year 10 and the Seniors are working on designing and producing their own garments.

Over the last couple of days the Year 12 PE students have braved cooler temperatures to go on a tramp up Flagstaff and Mount Cargill. It was great to get out and about in the fresh air.

This week we held the annual Year 11 Economics/Business Studies Market Day. The students spent time in class learning how to run their own business, create business plans, and then create a product to sell.

This term, our Year 10 class has been working on a sustainability unit. We have each researched different sustainability issues in Humanities.

This week saw the start of secondary school sport competitions with hockey and rugby the first sports to get underway. Everyone was excited to get back out there and enjoyed some healthy competition again.
