Sports Corner

Tessa Nicol - Director of SportJanuary 31, 2024

Welcome to the first edition of Sports Corner for 2024. Here’s to continuing on from the success Queen’s High School had in the sporting arena last year.

My name is Tessa Nicol and I am the new Director of Sport, having taken over the role from Nikki Stumbles. I am looking forward to continuing the wonderful work she did, and connecting with Queen’s rangatahi over the coming weeks.

An email has been sent home this week regarding summer sport registrations. Please read this information carefully, along with the Sports Code of Conduct Contract. We have tight deadlines this year, please ensure your child registers for their chosen sports as soon as possible. Trial dates and times for summer sports will appear in the daily notices.

School Athletics Day is being held at the Caledonian Ground on Wednesday 14 February (postponement date, Thursday 15 February).

We welcome students or parent/caregivers to share any students’ sporting achievements with us. Please communicate with me via email: sport@queens.school.nz and include any photographs with the source for credit.
