What’s coming up?

SCHOOL DISCO (Neon theme) - Friday 28th June - Junior (Nest - Yr 4) 6-7pm; Senior (Yr 5-8) 7.15-8.30pm. 

From Wednesday 19th - Thursday 27th June you will be able to purchase a Disco Combo from outside the hall foyer 8:30 - 9am. The $5 combo includes: Disco entry, chips, lolly bag and choice of water or soft drink. Cash Only!

Also available for purchase online via KINDO until Thursday 27th June (www.kindo.co.nz)

We will still have lollies, drinks and glow toys available for sale on the night.

Fundraisers

QUIZ NIGHT Thanks to everyone who supported the Quiz night. Mr Mabin was fantastic on the mike running Qwizard with the support of Helen, Aimee, Kylie, Pauline, Beccy and Rachel as markers. Steve Frodsham kept the crowd entertained between rounds. Team ‘Let’s get Quizical’ were the winners on the night, closely followed by Team ‘E=MC Hammer2’. Both teams took away some awesome prizes from our sponsors. We raised $1700.00. A fun night and a great start to our targeted funds for the playground as part of the rebuild.

What does your PTA fundraising money get spent on?

Funds raised by the PTA get spent in all areas of the school. Recent purchases include:

The Learning Teams have started spending the funding received from the PTA. The Year 5/6 Learning team decided to spend the PTA funding on Sphero Robotic toys that help teach programming concepts. Here are a few photos of the children using the Spheros.
