Have you thought about joining the Queenspark School PTA? 

Being involved in the PTA is very rewarding. It’s a great way to get to know other parents, and an opportunity to get more involved with what is happening at your school. 

The Queenspark School PTA is a friendly group of parents and teachers who assist the school through event support and fundraising. School discos, sausage sizzles, the fair and other fundraising events are held provide extra funds to support our school and are all made possible through the PTA. 

However, our PTA is currently too small to keep performing at the current level. To run successfully our PTA needs a minimum of 20 people who are willing to help. We would like to invite you to join or learn more about your PTA by coming to one of our monthly meetings. They are usually held in the school library from 7-8pm. Meetings are relaxed and fast moving. Upcoming dates are advertised via the usual school communications. Free Range Egg Fundraiser:

Queenspark PTA will no longer be running Free Range Egg sales. Thanks to everyone who helped and purchased eggs last year. 

We may look into doing it again in the future.

Queenspark School is taking part in the Crusaders promotion 'Take a School to Footy'.

Join us for the BNZ Crusaders v Chiefs - 5.15pm, Saturday 9 March 2019 at Christchurch Stadium

Ticket prices: $22.50 (adults) and $10.50 (kids)

Each child who comes as part of the fundraiser ticket will receive a free Hellers Take A Kid To Footy Goodie Bag (this is on arrival). This is a collectable boot bag, which the kids can keep. Inside the bag is a 400ml Pump bottle, a bag of Heartland Chips and a sweet treat, plus a giveaway from Hellers. Each child will also get access to the Mobil Smiles Fun Zone at Christchurch Stadium which is a new and exciting inflatable area behind the West Stand.

What about Transport?

As part of the promotion we have two options for transport:

· 45 seater bus ($2 per person return leaving from school);

· 100 carpark tickets ($5 per car).

If you wish to use one of these options please reserve your bus seat or carpark ticket by emailing philippa.cope@gmail.com or contacting the school office. Tickets must be paid for in cash when reserving or prior to pick up. Your transport ticket will be available the week of the game. Availability is limited so be in quick.
