Congratulations:

Congratulations to Monty Williams (Room 19/20) who has won one of ten prizes from the Scholastic Book Club Dog Man competition, which was run throughout New Zealand and Australia. Monty has won, for Rm 19/20, a $100 Scholastic Book Club voucher. 

Monty will be able to choose a book for himself to keep from this prize too. Look out for Issue 6 of the Book Club as his winning Dog Man cartoon will be printed in it!

Year 2:

We have been working hard in the Year 2 team celebrating Matariki. In collaboration with the junior team we have created a Korowai sitting proudly on Room 9 and 10's wall.

Room 11 has created a wonderful poster working together as whānau for our Matariki celebrations.

International Students:

As you know we have the privilege of hosting many International Students from China this term.  This is exciting for us as we showcase our school and teach them some of the many ways we learn here at Queenspark.  The chinese students are buddied up with our students and are being well looked after in true QPS style.  Make sure you say Hello or Ni Hao if you see them around  😀
