Dear Queenspark Primary School Parents,

The team at Mindful Movers are looking forward to working with your children this year.

MINDFULNESS for big people 

  • Where are we putting our energy? Our resources are limited. We only have so much energy to use each day, are we focusing on things we can control?

  • Emotions have an arc - they come and they go.“Experiment with making peace with each wave of emotion that life brings to you, rather than trying to control how you feel.”

  • Obsessing, worrying about things we can’t control wastes our energy.

  • Don’t wait till life is quiet to practice relaxation and mindfulness. Life will always be complicated, there are always going to be challenges. Take a moment now.

  • Instead of jumping in right away to put out fires. Stop, take a breath and observe. Notice how best your energies can be utilised. Then act.

  • Look at this poster to see if you are using your energy to work on things you can actually control.
