Team Highlights:
In Hub 15/16 we have been focusing on writing descriptions about a special person in our life. We have been learning about writing great sentences that include specific details and some interesting describing words.
Here's the snippets from some of our stories.

Mum gets as angry as a bull when she doesn't get coffee in the morning. Jazmine
My Dad is super energetic because he can bike forty kilometres like a professional cyclist. Sam
My big sister is the world's best person to me because she doesn't spend all her time on devices like my brothers! Emma
My brother is always getting up to mischief because he never listens to instructions. Greer
My cousins are extremely cute because they go around saying, “What’s your peculiar talent?” Then they spin around. Tristan
My nana has brown freckles on her wobbly legs. Ava
My cat Beetle is as fluffy as a cloud and I like cuddling her silky fur. Leon
My young Dad is very funny because he tells me good jokes and makes me laugh. Mason
My cousin Paxton is so funny because he goes around saying “I’m a lion and my name is Jeffrey.” Kobe
My mum Tania is lovely because if you are sad she’ll make you happy by talking about it. Lily S

There were loads of amazing experiements on show to other classes and to parents as well!

Nest +1 had a very enjoyable Mid Winter Activity afternoon on Tuesday. A huge thanks to all parents and grandparents that joined us for the afternoon, the children had a ball.
Another highlight of the term was our Cross Country. This was a wonderful way for our children to show perseverance and to be resolute, especially on all our practice runs. We were very proud that they stepped up and strived for their personal best.
