We accept enrolments for our school when your child turns 4 years of age. The earlier we receive your enrolment the better so we can plan for class sizes for the coming year.
Please make sure that your address falls into the school's enrolment zone before completing the online enrolment form.
An 'in zone' address means this is the address where the child sleeps from the first day of enrolment.
We are currently not accepting any out of zone enrolments. Please see the out of zone rules below.
QUEENSPARK SCHOOL ZONE MAP
The zone commences at the intersection of Putake Drive and Mairehau Road then traveling east – including both sides of Mairehau Road and all properties in Daytona, Curzon and Karlaw Places – up to the intersection with Inwoods Road, then turning north along Inwoods Road across Queenspark Drive – including both sides of Inwoods Road (excluding Jade and Arosa Place) – up to the intersection with Broadhaven Avenue, crossing Broadhaven Avenue and traveling around Inwoods Close – including both sides of Inwoods Close, then returning to Broadhaven Avenue and traveling west – including both sides of Broadhaven Avenue – to the intersection with Anglesea Avenue, then turning north along Anglesea Avenue across Forest Drive – including both sides of the road – to the intersection with Millcroft Place, then traveling around Millcroft Place – including both sides of Millcroft Place. The home zone will then meet Queenspark Drive up to Rothesay Road and then continue along the south side of Rothesay Road to Putake Drive, turning south and travelling to Mairehau Road (including Amoka Crescent and Tanu Place).

Your child is legally entitled to start school at five years of age.
Once your child turns 4 years, please click on the above link to begin the first stage of applying online to Queenspark School.
Following this, we will be in touch to invite you and your child to meet our Junior Team Leader and also attend our New Entrant family meeting the term prior to starting school. This enables the child to meet the teacher and become familiar with the new surrounding. Three visits to the class are also arranged at the same time. It is also an opportunity to fill in the forms necessary for enrolment.
Immunisation Record – families are required to produce evidence that all vaccinations have been completed.
Birth Certificate or proof of identity
Proof of living in the school zone e.g. tenancy agreement, home purchase agreement, rates account etc
Signed letter stating you live in the school zone and will remain living in the school zone for 12mths

Talking about walks, holidays, shopping and any other family experience
Using scissors
Printing name (only first letter with a capital)
Putting away equipment and toys after using them
Putting on and doing up shoes and coat
Using a tissue
Flushing the toilet and washing hands afterwards.
New Entrants are dismissed daily at 3.00 pm.
Out of Zone Applications:
Out-of-Zone Enrolments 2024 / 2025: We are not currently taking any Out of Zone enrolments or holding an out of zone ballot. We will advise if there are any changes.
Out of Zone Siblings:
QUEENSPARK ZONING POLICY – EFFECTIVE 22 July 2019
1) Students that live in a residential address in the Queenspark School Zone are entitled to attend Queenspark School.
2) Parents/caregivers of all new students enrolled at Queenspark School are required to sign a declaration:
a) Confirming the residential address of the student.
b) Agreeing to advise Queenspark School immediately if they move house in the next 12 months.
c) Agreeing that if you move out of the Queenspark School Zone within 12 months, the student is no longer considered in-zone and will need to be enrolled at another school.
d) Agreeing that if the declaration is found to be false, Queenspark School has the right to annul the affected enrolment(s) and lay a police complaint.
e) Agreeing that a successful enrolment does not automatically entitle younger siblings to attend Queenspark School.
3) If you are living out of zone and you wish to enrol a sibling of a child that currently attends QPS, the following must apply:
a) The child was born before 22 July 2016.
b) The child’s name, birth date and gender are registered with the school no later than 5pm, 22 July 2019.
c) The child has an older sibling that is enrolled at Queenspark School as at 22 July 2019.
DEFINITIONS:
4) A Residential Address is the predominant address, ie; the street address that a student lives and sleeps at each night.
