It’s been a hive of activity around the school today, with excited students preparing outfits for the number of staff who have been preparing themselves to plunge into the lake. We look forward to seeing everyone at the foreshore to join in the fun from 3:45 pm. We appreciate the hard work that the parents have put into organising this event to raise money for our junior playground. See attached photos of our Junior teacher team dressed up and ready to plunge!

On the building front, we received good news this week. Attached is the confirmed design for the junior playground that the ministry has approved. This is a huge milestone for the school, and we are excited about sharing this significant milestone. Thank you for the hours of work that has gone on in the background by members of our Board of Trustees to get this across the line.

Deciding on the playground design we sought feedback from junior classroom teachers, and Mrs Hart ran student focus groups across the junior school to gather their ideas to formulate the plan. It was funny because some of the equipment that the teachers thought the students wouldn’t like ended up in the final plan after they were overruled by the student's voice.

Next week, the first 4 classroom teaching block will be delivered to the school. It is expected to be in place by the end of the week. Meanwhile, the slab is being prepared for the next 6 classroom teaching block. It will be so exciting to watch all the ideas come to fruition. Our students will end up with the amazing environment they deserve.

Thank you for your ongoing support. Remember, our door is always open if you have any concerns. It is best to sort out any issues before they become problematic. Have a safe weekend, and enjoy paradise.
