On Saturday the June 15, the QPS chess team traveled to Dunedin to compete in the Otago Interschools Chess Tournament.

Our team placed 3rd equal in the intermediate section with a team of one Year 8 student and three Year 6 students. it was a great experience for our younger students, being able to win/draw and lose against tougher competition.

We will be attending the Under 13s on the August 10, also in Dunedin. Ka pai tō Mahi tamariki ma!
