Over the Term 2 holidays the Kapa Haka Rōpū performed at the Mana Tāhuna Matariki Dinner. There they received a koha from Mana Tāhuna for their performance which was very gratefully received.
On this same occasion an extremely generous donation was given to the group by Deanna Rangi and Justin Frisby the parents of Kora Frisby, who is a member of Kapa Haka and Room 34. We thank you so very much for your spirit of generosity and support of Mana Māori at Queenstown Primary School. The funds donated will go towards maintaining Kapa Haka uniforms, any travel cost for the group and tutors.
